Pipe installation

the ideal ditch width is the width of three pipe diameters (3 D); a wider ditch increases the pressure load on the laid pipe

ditch depth (H):

• road traffic: 1m
• other areas 0.5m (0.8m recommended)

pipe laying: pipes should be laid on a levelled base where there is no large sharp stones and little height variations the of terrain

covering the ditch:

• we recommend caution as covering the ditch is a very important part of pipe installation
• first, cover the area around the laid pipe with sand with 0 – 10 grade so that the pipe is immobilised from all sides
• only then can the pipes be covered with a rougher material
